Headshots are requisite for today’s professional. Prospective clients and employers get their first impression of you by viewing your profile on LinkedIn or other platforms, and colleagues connect with each other throughout the day using avatars on Slack, Teams, and others. How does your profile pic represent you?

Working With Us

Sessions

Our sessions provide an uninterrupted window to get images that you will love. To ensure you don’t feel rushed (our goal is to have you look relaxed and confident), we schedule no more than two sessions per day.

Sessions include:

Professional coaching and direction to have you look your best.

Unlimited wardrobe changes.

A detailed image review at the end of the session where you choose which images you want to purchase.

What to Wear

We put no limits on wardrobe changes! Bring the outfits that make you feel terrific and confident. However, to get the best image, we have a few recommendations:

Women:

Several neutral and bold single-colored and/or subtly-patterned tops.
For a shoulders and up headshot, bring tops with a higher neckline. Avoid deep v-necks or any top that plunges below the collarbone. Collared shirts are fine if they can be adjusted.
Blazers or jackets are excellent choices for adding power to your look.
Avoid big patterns.
Sleeveless tops can work if appropriate to your field/industry.
Little to no jewelry. If you choose to wear earrings, stick with simple studs.

Men:

Several shirts in single-color and subtly-patterned designs.
Be sure to bring both neutral and bold colors.
Avoid big patterns.
Buttoned shirts and blazers/jackets for appropriate fields/industries.
Ties in a variety of patterns and colors, if appropriate to your field/industry.
Little to no jewelry.

Hair and Makeup

To make the most of a headshot session, look like you on your best day.

Hair: Your hair should be styled in a way that’s optimal to your natural look. Our studio has professional hair and makeup artists available upon request.

No Hair: If you’re part of the bald community, we’ve got you covered too- arrive with a clean-shaven head.

Facial Hair: Aim for a well-groomed mustache and/or beard on the day of the session.

Make-up: Your makeup should look natural and understated, enhancing rather than overemphasizing your features. Our studio has professional hair and makeup artists available upon request.

A: Our team is skilled at posing and coaching you for your best facial expressions.

A: You only purchase the images you love!
